About the Authors
Jerry & Heidi Beaver grew up in non-Christian homes. Neither were taught godly principles of modesty. Jerry was engulfed in the eighties long hair, glam rock era. Heidi, born with a facial deformity, spent her younger years trying to fit in with her world. After coming to the Lord for salvation and forgiveness, both Jerry and Heidi Ann enrolled in Bible colleges, where they each earned Bachelors and Masters degrees. Pastor Jerry W. Beaver is the senior pastor of Victory Baptist Church of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Jerry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, and a M.A. in Biblical Counseling. Jerry published a book entitled Walking Through the Valleys of Life, based on Psalm 23, which has sold over 2000 copies since 2009. Heidi Ann holds degrees in Sacred Music (voice) and Music Education and spends her time raising her 4 boys with Jerry, and serving in the church through music, ladies Bible studies, special meetings, and Sunday school.
